The roof covering (s'chach) is the critical part of a sukkah -- it must be of
plant material and provide more shade than sun, but not block out the stars.
Project kits provide a roof support system of wooden or bamboo roof slats designed to be
covered with greenery gathered locally (branches, cornstalks, reeds, shrub prunings, etc).
Another option is the use of bamboo mats made specifically for this purpose.
We offer these in several modular sizes (4x8,

to provide extra stability. Our mats are woven with durable, weatherproof
MONOFILAMENT, as specified in the psak of Rabbi Baruch Meir Clein. With proper care you can expect mats to provide 10 or more years of use.
